Manzanillo is the Sailfish Capital of the World and every November, an international Sailfish tournament is held here. Other Manzanillo sport fishing includes dorado, roosterfish and wahoo. There are excellent golf courses in the area, including the Pete and Roy Dye designed course, Las Hadas Mantarraya (rated one of Mexico's top five golf courses) whose dramatic 18th hold can be seen from Dolphin Cove Inn.
